According to Digg (updated few minutes ago) the Anti-Piracy movement / MPAA reported today playing dirty tricks in order to trap their own consumer sharing their copyrighted materials.
Their latest move is to setup a new YouTube alike service which directly allows users to upload and download movies Mivii.com. The website obviously created to lure users into uploading & downloading copyrighted materials by providing full 2 hours movie reported to be available for downloads, like 300 and Batman Returns…
Media Defender, a notorious anti piracy gang working for the MPAA, RIAA and several independent media production companies, just launched their very own video upload service called “miivi.com”. The sole purpose of the site is to trap people into uploading copyrighted material, and bust them for doing so. – TorrentFreak.com
Their actual intention is to setup a trap for users which illegally uploading and also downloading copyrighted materials.
The site is apparently the latest ploy in the ongoing battle against illegal file-sharing and literally takes the game to new heights. It offers WHOLE DOWNLOADS of movies as well as the ability to download and install a “miraculous” new program that offers “fast and easy downloading all in one great site.” There’s just one problem: the site’s registered to MediaDefender Inc. and it’s army of prying eyes are just nipping at the bud to take down those who are unaware. – ZeroPaid.com
The site currently down, perhaps being bombed (with massive traffic) by internet user group. Some site screenshot below…

Update: the site Mivii.com has been shut down. Thanks to the Digg community.
